There you are Toby.  A birthday present for you.   Toby is Damon's oldest boy and 14 today.   That was bloody ace.

My daughter was eight today. She is quite happy that Villa first of all changed the kick off time especially for her just so it didn't clash with her ice skating party earlier and then that they won for her.

We're definitely the team of the people.

Also how Delph isn't being included in England squads is beyond me.

WBA's own Roy Hodgson has the answer I think.

Quite happy with his ineptitude and pig-ignorance.

So happy tonight, well done my beloved Villa, highlight of the day my brother in law Steve (terminally ill with bone cancer) ringing me after the game and laughing and crying with joy.

Best I've seen Baker play today, second half was a real plus.

It suddenly dawned on me what Lambert's grand plan is.   He has assembled a squad of identical twins.   One twin is utterly rubbish and the other one is brilliant.  Joe Bennett's twin and Nathan Baker's twin were unrecognizably brilliant today.   Perhaps there are two Paul Lamberts.   The one today was a top class act.

Nice result to wake up to. We've evacuated to Apollo Bay for the weekend, more to get away from the f18 fly pasts rather than the cars!

buzzing.Man that North Stand was rocking like the Blues 5-1
Special mention to Bennett,a real classy performance.
Also the mad Scandinavian Villans who sang and drank like Vikings
Yes the Vikings. We spotted them in the bar at HT. Complete nutters but fantastic.

My daughter came over, we watched Villa win (well I did, she pissed around on her tablet), we went to the shop and bought some guppies. UTV.

That's fantastic Steve and hopefully this eases some of his pain.

Nice one, a trip up to Lake Eildon fell through. Mind the fighter planes were interesting, close to my balcony yesterday arvo.

See a lot of Big 4 club shirts around on Sundays here poncing about. I don't usually do this but think I shall don my '95, AST Computer era shirt today.

Thank you Olaftab, it gives him such a lift when we win, it was such a joy to hear him so happy.
