Luckily not a factor in the game but how on earth did Tettey not get a straight red in the first half?

Opposition players hardly ever get sent off at Villa Park anymore and if they do it's usually in injury time for some reason.

Would have to see it again, but it looked a bad one watching live.  Again not a factor in the game, but I thought there was a pretty clear handball in the box towards the end of the game (think it was their RB) from a shot by Gabby. 

Not a chance - if his hands had been any closer to his torso then they've have been growing directly out of his chest.

Not really any worse than us singing "how shit must you be, we're winning at home" or the "let's pretend we scored a goal" at Anfield a few years ago. Gallows humour innit.

I know some people have an issue with the second half, but really all of the onus was on Norwich. I bet had they gone for it properly we'd have hit them on the break again and scored. We didn't need to up the tempo. 4-1 was already a great result

I think it's a growing trend, with supporters of the also-rans in the Premiership losing patience with the dubious footballing ability of millionaires trotting around pitches. If you don't laugh at some on the ineptitude on display then it would drive you insane.

Ah right.  I was sat in the North Stand so was pretty far away from it, but it looked a decent shout.  Gabby seemed pretty adamant about it.

The game was won , all we had to do was see it out and we did that comfortably  enough .

i thought that, luckily it didn't quite connect, otherwise Baker would have been out for a while i reckon.

I'm guessing you never saw the stud marks on his stomach when he lifted his top to show the ref.
