We must be the only fans that are still twitchy with a 4-1 lead. This has got 4-4 written all over it.

Where has this performance come from?

No complaining from me though, this is a game we had to win and the response since drawing level has been utterly phenomenal.

Blimey, who could have saw this coming?  You gotta love the Villa rollercoaster at times.

Just be ready for the next match thread. I am superstitious, and will be calling you out from the first minute.

this is the frustrating thing about this team. We know we can play like this and have done so against better sides than Norwich. It just doesn't happen often enough. But when it does it is superb to watch

Confidence is everything in this side.

Is Hoolahan out of contract in the summer?

We're good when we play fucking football, on the ground, moving around off the ball, minimal boofing, choosing our moment. Why on earth don't we do this all the time?

This has turned from our worst performance to our best performance perhaps even so far under Lambert. This is absolutely brilliant.
It's still got a way to go to match Sunderland I'd say.

Nice.

Vlaar, El Ahmadi and Westwood play it around nicely, chest, head, left, right - back to Baker who shins it thirty feet in the air.
