Even if we win it's not likely we're going to go on some great run given the fixtures we have forthcoming.

That's been our main problem. Apart from November (I think), we haven't really gone on a run of any sort. That's held us back.

I've never known a season like it Clampy and it has really hacked me off. I accept we were very fortunate to win games like Man. City and Southampton but normally it's logical to think the team would at least gain confidence from beating good teams and go on a run. Instead our form has been awful after both of those results, playing against inferior teams.

Infact our form has been abysmal since the Southampton game on the 4th Dec. You're talking about a period of a period of 13 league games since then. We have won 2 of them and failed to score in 6 of those games.

Or it just showed up that we also played badly in both those games and were just extremely lucky?

Rumour Bertrand is missing with a virus? I hope that's just twitterbollocks.

It was confirmed he went off last week ill so he must be on the brink of death if he's still struggling a week on.

Bennett was hopeless in both Norwich fixtures last season and no doubt Snodgrass will target him again so I'd rather see Clark at LB for this.

I see this game just like last year away at Reading. Win it (which we will) and we will start to pull away from trouble. I'm not even going to bother typing the rest.

What's the weather like at the moment ?

It took me over an hour just to make it as far as 'Nam due to flooding/road closures.

I'm wondering how long I should give myself to get from work to Villa.

Maybe but Newcastle were in rubbish form, they probably didn't even deserve to beat us, did and clearly got confidence from that as they demolished Hull yesterday despite Pardew being a psycho.

I have spent the last half an hour staring at the Orange dot on page 9 of the thread, Mrs K just looks at me shaking her head  :)

The weather is thinking about raining. It won't stop once it starts apparently.

The trains are fucked in a few directions meaning I am currently touring the shittier parts of the Black Country on a train replacement coach.

Looking at how shit it is in this Industrial Estate I must be near The Hawthorns.

Who'd have thought a game against Norwich City could be so important. My heart says we will win because we're due a win.  My head says we will hang on for an unconvincing draw.

They never understand. I was accused of going potty (again) when she found me concentrating hard on the telext page ( I will explain kids) when we were drawing away from home. I can not understand why she found my answer "I am defending  our score"  hilarious?

Correct me if I'm wrong but Norwich are an absolute pile of wank.

So probably a draw then....

Aye, they score less goals than we do so they should probably only score two today..

We haven't had back to back wins this season.
