And another thing.  Ray was offering 6-1 at half time for Remy to score the next goal and as usual I didn't take him up on it.

There was absolutley no quality in that team going forward. Useless at every aspect. Crossing, passing, movement, through balls... total waste of space. Holt, Tonev and Albrighton would have been no worse than Gabby, Weimann and Benteke today. That's how poor they was.

People are being way too harsh on Benteke. This "system" we play is absolutely ridiculous but he's there winning a lot of headers and causing problems for defenders. Where are the players around him trying to, you know, help him? It's impossible for him to do it on his own!

Lambert is the main problem, he just doesn't know how to win a game. Look at today for example, Newcastle were shit but we seemed content holding on for a 0-0 draw.

Regarding Benteke, you must have been watching a very, very, very different match to me today. His performance was disgusting

Benteke won a massive 21 aerial duels today. Hardly what I'd describe as disgusting.

That's madness - why the hell is he involved in 21 aeriel duels? That's way too many.

I really have no love left for football. It's just so draining and miserable.

Exactly this.

Just think, there's the always joyous experience of watching England at a major tournament at the end of this season as well!!

Ha ha. At least watching England wont be as bad as Villa.....oh wait, it will probably be worse

Maybe we should start calling him the Red Baron?

Agree

Our free kicks drive me mad. The delivery is rubbish and we do the same things repeatedly. Why not do something different?

That's why I thought but WhoScored say 21.

It could be a mistake on their part, I guess.

Is that 2 wins in 13?  Very lucky wins as well.  Says it all.

Get used to this garbage as nothing is going to change with Lambo in charge and those clowns on the field.  I think we'll survive, just, but its just a downward spiral at the Villa, and can't see how Lambo could turn it around even with significant funds in the summer.

Its alright folks, lambert in his post match conference of easy questions says we'll win more than we lose as we're creating the chances.

Words fail me.

On current form and with the fixtures we have left I think 40 points is a very tough ask - we are in trouble.

With Norwich, Stoke, Fulham and Hull to come to VP it should be a doddle. But this is the Villa we're talking about.

Not sure i would treat Hull so lightly
