What the Christ does Albrighton have to do to get in the side?

Play poorly? I completely agree mate, he should have started. Newcastle are weak at the back and I would have fancied Albrighton to cause problems. Instead, we revert back to KEA and his tedious brand of football. Still, I think we'll win 3-1. Up the Villa!

Don't see why he prefers baker to Clark - Lowton once again not in the 18 and albrighton benched - who knows what will happen - we are so inconsistent we could either win or lose by a large margin.

Look better than he has I suppose. Still don't see what Albrighton can really offer other than random balls into the box. Very few of which reach an intended target.

Anyway, we have to choose one way or the other. Go for it more which sees us concede more but will show the best of our attacking side. It seems the siege mentality, backs to the wall clichéd type stuff is the only way you see the best of this team. Other than the odd other showing we have gone for a tighter defense but at the detriment to any attacking forays.

Delph has been the one player to have come on this season but he's carrying the midfield and is starting to make mistakes. That saying you don't know which Villa will turn up. If it's the good one we'll beat anyone. If it's the one that we have seen other than that team it's about capitalising in the few moments we have the ball in dangerous areas. Otherwise it'll be drab until we concede.

Come on Villa. Big win today please.

Oh, and 'big' in terms of result not that I necessarily can only be sated by blood.

Turn himself from a player that looks better as an impact sub than when he plays from the start.

He just played better than Weimann in the last match, no matter when he was on the pitch. He may well be better as an impact sub, but he just played better last time, and deserves to start.

Wouldn't have thought so, I think we all know what happens when a team in a bad run plays Villa.

What was the context of the remark? I am not in front of a tv at the minute...

He basically said villa are 7th and newcastle 8th in the all time table so newcastle are about where they would be expected to be

Never liked him since he was at west ham saying a club like west ham should always be beating teams like aston villa.

I don't like him either. Comes across as a smug guy. Hope we show him today!
