Worcester in QF's too....is this the year to finally get to finals day, we've got to get there one year!

Thumping innings from Whiteley & some classy bowling from Mitchell, Shantry & Leach when Derby were on the cusp of getting ahead of the rate

A very strange evening.  I spent  most of the game looking at the espn  reports from the Yorks/Notts match.
In the penultimate over of that game, Sidebottom was struck for 3 4s and a 6 in consecutive balls. The curly haired wassock.

The barbecue at the city end of the ground is surely some kind of health hazard. I lived for 10 years in TexA$$ and Kansas and ah aint niverrr seen ennythan laak the smoke from that mofo.

I know what you mean it was a strange sort of evening. Once Leics were struggling most of the attention turned to how Notts were going on in that massive run chase. When it flashed they only needed 6 from the last over the atmosphere lifted massively, I don't think many of the largish crowd thought we would advance, good that we did.

Oh, and the BBQ stand was very smokey between innings I just settled for a burger indoors. The real ale bar sold real average ales, thankfully I had a few up Moseley pre game.

I was at the Yorks/Notts game. I dare say Sidebottom has played his last T20. I sat on the Western Terrace, there was an excellent atmosphere up until the last 30 minutes when the beer took over.

From what I saw last week Warwick needs to pick better bowlers than Dalby and Gordon. We will really struggle if someone gives Patel a hard time.

If the Pears and/or the Bears make it through to Finals Day, it's going to mean a quick dash across the city after the Newcastle game

He was excellent in the recent CC game at Edgbaston. T20 is a different beast.

QF at Chelmsford on 2nd August.

The Eagles v the Bears.

Never mind. Essex will murder the Bears.

Should have fielded first
133-3 35.1
Ambrose Ct Dexter b Finn 14 (17)
Trott 61
Ambrose out first ball of the batting powerplay.
Could struggle in the bowling department Rankin cried off injured just before the start, no Keith Barker either, young lad Thomason making his debut.
