I saw Patel's hat trick on Sky. Really skilful bowling.I really thought we'd blown it and it took a wonderful innings from Laurie Evans to steer the game our way.If mind befuddled brain is working then we need to beat Leicestershire next Friday and hope that Yorkshire lose to qualify for the quarter finals.

Warwickshire fast bowler Chris Wright ruled out for the season Wright has suffered a recurrence of the back problem which sidelined him for the second half of the 2013 campaign Jul 21, 2014 14:08By Brian Halford Warwickshire have suffered a big blow to their bowling options after fast bowler Chris Wright was ruled out for the rest of the season.Wright has suffered a recurrence of the back problem which sidelined him for the second half of the 2013 campaign. It is dreadfully bad luck for the player who bowled in the first innings of the win at Durham last week but then suffered an adverse reaction before the second innings.“We are still waiting for confirmation from a scan,” said director of cricket Dougie Brown, “but we know it is a stress-related injury. Whether it is a stress-fracture or a stress-reaction we will have to wait and see but realistically Chris’s season is over.“It is a real shame because he was just getting back into a really good rhythm.“He had had a little bit of a stiff back for ten days or so, then up at Durham he bowled really well in the first innings but unfortunately couldn’t bowl in the second.“It is really disappointing on the back of him having a stress-fracture at a similar stage last season. It is a shame for him and also for us as we lose a another senior bowler at an important time.”Wright’s place has been filled for the current match in Sussex by Chris Woakes, released by England, but Woakes is unlikely to be available all the time for the rest of the season. So the likes of Olly Hannon-Dalby and Richard Jones will come into contention.“We have a good squad of bowlers and we are going to have to use them as and when appropriate,” Brown said. “It has been a great effort by the guys to keep going the way they have done so far this season through what has been a very busy spell."
