Hopefully we can pull this off - a win will do wonders for confidence. Upper order batting needs to perform for once. Well done to Woakesy!!

Adam Lyth and Aaron Finch have just combined for a catch that could possibly be even better than the one against Lancashire. Incredible piece of fielding.

Trott done by a bouncer from Siddle. Very bad start.

I bet Siddle chipped him first.

I bet Siddle chipped him first.

He bowled 3 consecutive bouncers at Trott in the first innings to the chagrin of the home support.

Trott needed 12 months out I reckon.

True, I wonder where the pressure to come back sooner comes from, the first comeback in April was woefully misguided, he was clearly in no state to be playing at that point.

He seemed relaxed and in good spirits in the field and was our loudest shouter. Clearly though he can be easily intimidated still.

Some great cut shots played by Wright who is on 40 despite Siddle trying to  knock his block off.

The top order is a complete mess, they're currently being shamed by the nightwatchman who looks a lot more comfortable at the crease than any of them.  Chopra is particularly frustrating after how well he finished last summer.

Agreed Paul.
Wright out for a heroic 45 including 8 4s.
Ambrose in.

I accept full responsibility for that wicket, I'm very sorry.
