Basil D'Oliveira:

Kind of proves what he had to try and live up to as when I even reference his passing away I call him by his late father's name.

It should, of course, read Damian D'Oliveira.

RIP Dolly

RIP Dolly!  Been a great servant and by all accounts a lovely bloke.

Good to see a couple of the most recent academy graduates score a few on what must have been a tough day.

Not a good day for the Bears.....what's happened to Barker & Wright? They seem very ordinary this season and are conceding too many runs. Are they missing Welch I wonder? Doesn't sound good for Jim Troughton, he's got a 'sore' back and the worry is it may be a recurrence of his injury.

Agree - we need 257 to avoid follow on...which the way bears are currently performing at that is no mean feat.

9-0 at moment
