That is the point at which I left, and I agree with you that it was ridiculous.

Sad that Westy didn't get his ton, but very pleased for my countryman Porterfield, who is a great talent. With the likes of himself in front of the wicket and Rikki Clarke and Chopra in the slip cordon, we can be brilliant in the field.

I thought Chris Wright bowled brilliantly in his opening spell yesterday, and Barker was very effective, but I am still obstinately sticking to my opinion that our seam attack will not get it done when conditions are not favourable. Mind you, if the weather for the summer is like a couple of years ago, then there will be favourable conditions aplenty, heavy roller or no.
