I can see us doing well in the "20/20 spunk fest" this year.

May have a punt on it. I wouldn't put anything in the Championship though, our batting line up is far to fragile.

Don't waste your money.

I think the same batting problems will undermine us in T20 too. We've only got Shoaib to add to a misfiring line up and he is only available for 6 games from mid-June. Our chance may have gone by then.

That's the beauty of 20/20 though. Swing the bat without a care in the world and before you know it you're only faced 12 balls and you're 35 not out and bang back in form.

Now you've told me not to waste my money that's exactly what I intend to do :-)

Weather forecast not too promising for this evening.

England's Woakes & Bresnan both available.

They had a guy with a board at new street for a free edgbaston shuttle bus, seemed a bit of a waste of time, Id be amazed if there's even a silly 6-7over blast late in the evening.

Match abandoned before it began; aborted, if you will.

Part of me wishes that every home game in the t20 will be washed out, as poetic justice for the name change.

But that would be financially devastating for the real Warwickshire team, so perhaps not.

What bad luck the Bears have with the weather, every other match scheduled for tonight completed, while the Bears don't even get on the pitch

Yes, it seems a good proportion of  the potentially lucrative games are badly affected by the rain in recent times. Look at the one day internationals last year.
