Brilliant catch by sub fielder at mid wicket to getbrid of Simpson off Jones. 209 for 6.

Match will be over before lunch tomorrow.

Didn't even get to the end of play, pretty massive collapse from middlesex.

Magnificent team performance particularly in the context of all the absentees.

The Jones/Patel bowling marathon took me back to the early 70's.

You Bears!

Looks like Bears will remain top of the league at the conclusion of todays games.
Lancs v Sussex already abandoned as a draw putting Sussex on 56 points a point behind Bears.
Somerset v Notts looks as though being played out as a draw Notts still batting and now 300 ahead which means Somerset will take 12 points out of game leaving them on 51.
Yorks need to take 6 wickets after Tea with Durham 146 behind still, so i suppose the Yorks win is a possibility, but the weather has had them off the ground at times during
the day so let's hope for a little more time lost!!!

Nice stats PGW, we need to collect as many points as early in the season as we can, COYB.

Warwickshire have won the toss at Headingley and put Yorks into bat.
13-0
Root 12
Lyth 1
Team, Chopra, Porterfield, Evans, Bell, Javid, Ambrose, Woakes, Barker, Patel, Jones, Wright
So Westwood & Hain left out plus Hannon-Dalby injured but not bad replacements in Bell & Porterfield and Woakes into the attack.
