We would need him to bat sensibly then, he has done that today to a degree but still found time to hit 3 x 4's and a 6.
I think it would take too much out of his natural game to promote him....leave him at 9 where he can cause mayhem. Our mid/lower order is pretty strong
with Barker, Woakes and Patel....
