Well bowled Wrighty!

Great to see him getting back into the groove. In favourable conditions he can be very effective.

Bear in mind though that Notts have not made the heavy roller available for this match, and all the batsmen apart from Bell are struggling.

Siddle       Not Out                          0

116 All Out
Chopra Ct Read b Siddle                0 (2nd ball)

Bears bowling figures
Barker             11           3           36         1
Wright             14           5           34         3
Hannon-Dalby  8            0            25        2
Woakes            5            1            13        3

Chopra's dismissal means 5 wickets in 10 balls

And Javid - a second duck here first ball . Not good news i'm afraid Bears 65-5 a lead of 212.

Evans Ct Lumb b Siddle  24
Porterfield Ct Patel b Siddle 22
Bell Ct Read b Gurney 5
Javid Ct Read b Gurney 0
Ambrose no 9
Woakes no 0

Already 9 wickets have fallen in the day.

Is it the pitch PGW? That's 25 wickets in 4.5 sessions of cricket.

A combination of pitch and bloody good bowling....Siddle bowled unchanged since lunch , well until a couple of overs ago along with Harry Gurney and between them got Bears in a stranglehold.
Woakes and Ambrose have started to play a few shots and Ambrose has become only the 9th batsman to reach double figures in the match.
Shows what a good century Bell's was.
83-5 230 ahead - must get a 300 lead - these pair put 26 on now.

115-8

Lead 262 Notts will have to get the highest score in the match to win this.
Some of the shot selection's by both sets of batsmen catastrophic proportions!!!
