Why is this ground bloody half full? Edgbaston would be packed to the rafters.

There are not many test grounds in the area so I'm not accepting that playing on a Monday, in an area without much international cricket, equals today's poor attendance.

Monday is not a popular day for the corporate business who are much more likely to attend on a Thursday or Friday. A test starting on a Sunday in the second week of the school holidays was always going to attract a poor crowd.
