Ridiculous.  We couldn't afford Liverpool away (£45) which we wanted to go to and now this.  1 adult and 1 child costs £73.  Add another child and you've got over £100.  I don't care who it is we're playing, this is ridiculous.  I see Cardiff away is something like £35 - how are we meant to keep going?  In fact, as a thank you for all of our support I can't see why Villa don't offer reductions, like Bayern Munich are for all their fans going to Arsenal.

They're already offering loads of free coaches to various games and have come to a mutual agreement with some clubs to keep prices respectable. It's unfair to expect the club to make a massive loss every away league game just because our opponents are greedy bastards.

Unfortunately UEFA's ludicrous "Financial Fair Play" shite is only going to make ticket prices increase ever more as clubs look to further boost revenue to spend stratospheric amounts money on players.

I live in Manchester City Centre, and go to 90% of aways. But I'm not doing this.

The away area starts below ground level.  You're either down the front and can't see, or have a restricted view from the back.

£47.00 to watch us, let's face it. More than likely get a hide in is ridiculous.

I phoned a supplier, who has been offering "Corporate hospitality" for a while, so took him up on his offer of a freebie.

£47 is a piss take. Fair play to those going but it's too much for me this time round. The sooner football drags itself back to reality the better, but I won't hold my breath. No wonder pubs are packed with people watching games.

U can probably get a ticket for £20 on viagogo for that game..
Do you have to be a registered city fan though ?

If you have used Viagogo to buy Villa tickets, you'd probably need to get someone to register a new account in their name and buy the ticket. Not that i'd recommend doing such a thing of course.

Im registered to sell Villa tickets on viagogo but have had no trouble buying tickets for home ends in the past. Unless things have changed since last season any checks that are made dont seem to be very rigorous.

Is it still £47, even though it's a Wednesday game??
