Mine arrived yesterday morning. In the afternoon I saw a magpie walking under a ladder carrying a dead lion cub while liaising with a black cat who was soiling an abandoned Villa scarf.

Hopefully not an ominous portent.

On a positive note , there was a picturesque postcard in the ST wallet , an aerial landscape of VP which would appear to have been shot from the scaffold around Aston church spire.

I very reluctantly renewed, and a month on I'm really not confident this season. The useless owners/management have made a complete hash of it since 2010, and there's no sign of the situation improving any time soon. I fear by the time Lerner sells it'll be too late and we'll be in deep trouble. Just for once, why can't they give us some positive news with a marquee signing? - it's always negative......

Sticking to my guns. Will be at the Parma game with most of my girls football team then going to the Stoke away fixture with PWS and UK Redsox.
