Can't believe what ive done...ive renewed for next season...mind you £321 for P8 is a bit if a bargain..whatever league we are in!
Yes..had £13 left on Villa cash...i wasnt going to get one..but you can't turn that offer down.

How come you've got a ST in P8 for £321 when we have to pay £335!?

I'm guessing Villa Cash...

Ah, yes.  Using this season's Villa Cash would probably make that about right,

Just wondering whether to send Nicola Keye my refusal letter now or wait to see how many matches we actually lose at home in the full season

He bought the same seat as you thanks to Villa's new "get to know your fellow fans, trail standing scheme".

He will be standing in front of you.

Good news is you will both likely get the same entertainment value.

If you want to send a letter why not send it to the right person? I'm going to assume your reasons for not renewing have nothing to do with anything Nicola Keye has done.

Ticket Office must like me, either that or they like an ear bending - 2 calls enquiring if I will
renew in L6 - the first call lasted upwards of 10mins (I wonder if anyone listened to the recording?)
the second was short and to the point ......'you already aked ad it's no'

In between time I emailed CEO Faulkner and followed it up with hand delivered letter (heart felt
and not abusive) to which Nicola keye spoke with me by phone explaining Faulkner 'doesn't do replies'

Yesterday the club begging letter was delivered by postie (bluenose Ron Green ex Walsall gk)
I haven't decided what to do with it yet

After about 23 years I will not be renewing. I now have a job which involves working most Saturday/Sundays.
Would I have renewed if I didn't now work weekends ? Probably.
Would I have taken a job five years ago which meant missing the Villa ? Probably not.

Me and Mrs HV will also not be renewing.

There are several reasons;-
1. SKY  - moving all the games around
2. Value for money - why buy a Season Ticket when I can buy tickets for £12 viagogo
3. Cost ( Season Ticket + 260 mile round trip, programme, food etc) it is a costly day out
4 Time - It is an all day affair for us
5 Missed games -I have a job which involves a great deal of European travel which means I often miss the midweek games  as  I am not here.
6 Enjoyment. - I really don't enjoy going to Villa Park any more. I much prefer gong to away games
7 The way our club is being run
8. The complete lack of ambition
9 The premiere league  4 teams in with a chance, the next one doomed to the Crap Cup in Europe, the rest trying to avoid relegation. No thanks !
10. Crap football

 What will I miss:-
1.The biggest thing I will miss is the people I have sat close to for a long time. We have all travelled together,  without them I feel I would have had enough long before!
2 Crap football ;-)

Because she's the person who wrote to me as Head of Consumer Sales

This is what pisses me off......i swore to myself that i would not renew for this coming season but what happens when they go on general release i collapse like a pack of cards
and buy one admittedly not my old seat but a cheaper one saving me £100...then this list comes out and 4 home games already down for TV...oh why did i bother.

Blimey, six early Villa games moved for television! Getting us out of the way early so they don't have to watch the same end of season shit that we do!!

A shame that our first home game has been moved to  a 1245 start, which is an atmosphere killer.

I understand that nobody wants to be going to Villa Park on a Sunday or Monday night, but I actually really like 5:30 kick offs.  Can get in the boozer for the early kick off, watch the scores roll in then the atmosphere in the ground is usually better because most people are pretty licked or on the way ...

12:45 on a Saturday is the worst though, no doubt.

And does Southampton on a Monday night help or hinder you, HV?
