We have done really well since going 2-0 down, and in truth probably deserve to back on terms on chances now, but defend like that and you will lose. Vlaar is the difference today.

There is one bloke at VP who does deserve a new contract.

Fuck me how many are we going to miss!

Albrighton's been superb.

Easily our best player, and he didn't come on til the 56th minute, which really says it all.

I think Westwood's been as good, in his own quiet way. Just he's been asked to do so much more than his remit should entail, which is not his fault. But I think Albrighton should be on the left cutting in, running at West Ham's defenders.

This time last year we started to recover. Looks like the opposite this time.

The thing is, if we had Vlaar in the side, hadn't conceded at the start of the second, and put in this second half performance then I'd be saying fair enough.

We've had so many chances since they scored. More than in almost any game this season I'd say. Benteke could have had a hat trick.

West Ham are happy to soak up a bit of pressure now, they know we're not going to score from open play.

Hate Collins and Downing being on the winning side

I can't even blame Lambert. He's been asked to build a team by fucking bartering. Lerner, this is a mess of your making.

tony pulis has done a much better job in less time.

Lerner has given up on the club but Lambert's abilities as a manager have been well and truly found out at Villa. Cant understand how little criticism he has been getting outside the club. Think as per previous Villa manager's his career will nosedive quickly once he is put out of his misery.

fair play to Albrighton, has played great stuff since he came on.

He'll be dropped for the next game.
