Lambert's post match comments infuriate me and then people will say 'well he can't criticise players in public'. Fair enough but why don't we ever improve at home? why are we fucking dreadful nearly every game? I can only conclude he genuinely thinks we play well at home.

That was a fucking horrible tackle from Taylor. That's why everyone hates Allardyce and his teams.

Seriously, why on earth are we talking about a new contract?

In spite of what Lambert says, I doubt Randy sees any of our games. He just sees 10th/11th place in the table and assumes we're fine.

How horrendous would this be without the fluke wins against Arsenal and Man City?

And Southampton away.

As much of a twat as he can be, I'm looking forward post-match to Pat Murphy asking straight-up questions, which every other journo is scared to do, and ruffle Lambert. He must know he's untouchable regardless of what shit Villa serve-up under him.

And that is the saddest thing of all - we are stuck with the clueless one!

It's alright, because obviously, the plan is to carry on being shit till the end of this season, then once we've got rid of Hutton and Given, we'll start being good again.
