Is it possible for both sides to register 20% possession each, seeing as the ball will probably be in the air for the remaining 60% of play?! 1-0 El Ahmadi - which will guarantee a starting berth for the next 5 games  :-\

If it becomes a hoofing battle, Collins seems more accurate than Clark

If I remember right it was around this time last year that we started getting something resembling acceptable home form by beating West Ham in a nervy 2-1 game. I am going for the same result in the same type of game and the same sort of home run till the end of the season. Groundhog day time.

I will be there expecting a home win and will be genuinely dismayed if Villa do not follow up on the Baggies match by ending the home form hoodoo. However, Sam loves a clean sheet and Villa struggle to break down defences.

It surely has to be a better game than the absolute rubbish nil nil job at Upton Park a few months ago.

Bad news folks - I'm coming to this one and I haven't seen the Villa win live since John Carew's home debut (forgive me, Singapore is a long way).  That was 2007 I believe....  Funnily enough that was against West Aaaam too so I reckon this is the one to break the sequence.

2-1.
I wish you a good trip and hope history will repeat itself with another win against West Ham, only this time with Holt the debut scorer ;-)

I really hope we dont play 5 at the back, if we do...

Absolutely guarantee someone will be sent off in a dreadful game. That person will be either Collins J, Johnson R, or Holt G.

Our players are tired and crap and playing at home against a West Ham who are beginning to believe in themsleves again. I see a narrow away win.

We seem to struggle against teams who have players missing for some reason. I'll go for 1-1. Benteke penalty. Nolan for them.

This has 0-0 written all over it.

I can't go, and to be honest I'm not sorry. Fair play to anyone who does- its surely gonna be an absolute stinker.

What a strange game that was. The most one sided 0-0 draw I've seen in years and yet on all three occasions we entered their half we should have scored.

I would like to see Collins and Johnson stay on the pitch as I think they are both capable of putting in a performance of Diego Lugano quality on their day.

strange game indeed, I said to some of my West Ham friends that although they had all the game we had the only real chances of scoring..
