There is a simple solution make it so humiliating for Lambert at the next home game he walks. We collectively have been far too lenient on him all through his tenure, we have willed him to improve and learn but after every glimmer always came devastation. Hull are one of the poorest sides i have seen in the prem and yet we could only really trouble their keeper twice and that was wwhen the game had long gone from us. This is our club not his he will never be Villa like we are yet he is going to destroy us.

I agree wholeheartedly Robbo but I think Lambert has one objective and it is a compensation cheque in his pocket. He will put up with any amount of criticism so that he can laugh all the way to the bank. If I owned the club whoever proposed the four year contract in the first place would be joining him at the Hob Centre.

By the time I get home from work today he had better be out of our club.

I hope you haven't got a cat to kick because personally I can't see it happening.

He doesn't seem to understand humiliation. His team have done their best on that score numerous times but he carries on.

Last night before the game I predicted a 2-0 defeat and Lambert ti be sacked this morning. I am having second thoughts a now and susprect they will bottle it once again. Randy will be on the golf course or wherever and unable to approve action of any kind so the vacuum of leaderlessness will continue unabated.

I think the personal 'hatred' stuff is a bit silly to be honest.  He's out of his depth and should be sacked.  That he hasn't been, isn't his fault, neither is it his fault he was offered a long contract after a couple of wins.

Ask yourself this, if you had the choice of resigning and losing multiple millions of pounds and unlimited damage to a once promising career, or trying to dig your self out of a hole and still getting to have those multiple millions in a few months...  I think I know what I'd do.

I don't hate Lambert, but it's very likely he will take us down this year.  Lerner and Fox are the culprits here having left a dud manager in place for at least a year longer than he deserved.

Randy is on holiday in the Carribbean apparently.

I have no hatred for Lambert. I don't think I hate anybody though Putin comes close. Times like these are about love and I use that overused word in its true sense. I love Aston Villa. It causes me intense pain when the club which has been at the heart of my life for so many years is the object of scorn and ridicule of unbearable dimensions and so very, very much if it predictable and avoidable by basic and simple executive decisions taken at the right time.

Is there anybody, ANYBODY, who can defend Lambert and still want him in charge? I'd be really interested to hear any defence for him now.

The game summed it up for me: rudderless, lacklustre, absence of a clear gameplan, players immobile. And most importantly, bested by a poor side that wanted it more than Villa.
We are sleepwalking into the C'ship because nothing seems to have aroused the players from a deep slumber.
We, the fans, did voice our unhappiness but even then there was a sullen acceptance that we were going to be going down ...
... Well, that's what I sensed,anyway.

Sack Lambert get a caretaker in , get vlaar back in as captain Sanchez as dcm and Benteke up front. We have no option other than this and limited time now. 13 games about 4 of which are write offs so 9 games to save our skins
