We've got to start some serious Lambert Out chants. It's not going to make the players any worse and it'll be short term pain for long term gain for them.

Tonight is his Bolton moment.

Will it matter, we know he's out of his depth, so does he and the owner doesn't seem to care. I've shouted for him to go bit now I just think sheer mindless support for the team is the best way to go, they really cant get any worse and Lamberts' going nowhere

With the players we have I don't think any manager could have a worse record than we have had for months now. 2 wins in 21 league games.

Our last 10 games really brings it home.

The absolute incompetence from all sides is breathtaking. The new contract for lambert, the appointment of a national team's assistant as our assistant who was known for being, erm, difficult, followed by a failure to replace him after he walked, the talk of a director of football etc. only to decide that the summer is the best time to do so rather than when there was an imminent need for change on the footballing side, and then there's the horror show on the field, week in, week out. I'm absolutely fucked off by it all.

Well done Paul.

I never, ever thought I would hate you. I do now, I fucking despise you.

Depending on whose company I am in I sometimes have to check myself when talking about him to edit out the expletives.

We've unconditionally supported the team under this manager for 3 years now and they're worse than ever. If you think doing the same will produce different results you're mad. Yes the owner is clueless but some serious vocal supporter discontent might make him realise what an absolute shambles this is.

FA Cup 5th Round at home
13 games to save the season
£1m bonus if you keep us up

Plenty of managers around the world would jump at that deal.

Especially as now we are bottom three they can either spin a great escape or not my fault line whatever happens.

To coincide with the "Lambert Out" bed sheet tonight and us falling into the bottom 3, can we please have the poll reset? If only just to see if anyone still wants him to stay.

What's the point? 94% is pretty clear and you're bound to have some wags voting to keep him.

I'd take MON back for the final 13, providing he and Randy could reconcile. He's a motivator, knows the club. Forget what happened in the aftermath of his departure. We haven't got time to be proud. It's desperate but that's exactly where we are.

Yes still a third of the season to go so it's nonsense to suggest it's too late to sack him !

It's starting to feel like that's the only option for Villa fans. I think we've been beyond patient with this situation, three years of this with Lambert and more going back to Houllier and McLeish. How much are we supposed to take before we vent? 5 years of decline, with the shadow of relegation all over us is a good enough reason to express discontent vocally for me!

Gawd knows, we've been patient, they are shit, we've booed and told them how shit they are, they are shit, we've taken the piss, they are shit, we've tried light hearted humour, they are shit.

Lambert is going nowhere, there have been 10ish occasions when he should have been sacked but he's still here, and now looking on the verge of a stroke, he's not getting the sack so the choice is get behind them and hope for the best or get on their backs and be proved right on how shit they are. They don't deserve support but I don't think they will handle more criticism.
