Exactly. He's going nowhere. If he hasn't been sacked by now he won't be until at least the end of the season.

Some might say levelling it down to the last 15 months is being kind to him.

What we need is someone who supported Villa in their younger days and is now doing very well at the Chamionship on a shoestring budget...Gary Rowett anybody?

Mourinho has got it nailed on, how can we be so low with the players we have. The answer is obvious to everyone except those who matter.

Exactly

We keep saying is is unsackable but they just can't leave him losing every match.I see Forest got a win after sacking Pearce.Rowlett and Pardew are another 2 that have had an effect.

Next manager to leave/be sacked odds -

Lambert 7/4
Bruce    7/2
Pearson 8/1

The one thing I'll give Lambert credit for is that he's assembled a good squad with the money he's spent. I think Benteke, Gil, Sanchez, Okore and Vlaar are all top players. Cissokho, Westwood and Sinclair are all pretty good. Unfortunately he doesn't have a clue how to coach/manage them.

 Agree PW.

I think we will stop up this season, and Lambert will be gone in the summer, and we will get someone like Karanca in to change the mentality, quality, organization of the club from the top.

Good day for Aston villa, a few of our rivals dropped points. Very sad state.

Usually I would concur with that, but I think failure to beat either Hull or QPR could see him thrown overboard.

With QPR's dismal away record, Ive felt for a while that could be the game that they scrape their one and only away win of the season.

Lose to them and we really are the pits.

QPR is a lot of points down the line and too late to make a change for me.
