The zzzz protest isn't a bad idea but I would suggest we do it prior to the game rather than during it! We have to try to get behind the team despite them not deserving it!

We as fans have to do something we can't just keep accepting this

Maybe someone can slip this onto the PA system as a tribute to St Paul the Goalless.

Warning not for sensitive ears or those easily offended by profanities.

The first verse really gets the picture.

Sending a poll result of 300 people on the internet is hardly going to change anyone's mind.

Even in the darkest depths of our situation, there are a handful of managers I would put even below Lambert in the 'wouldn't want them to even be considered' list. Holloway, Pulis, Warnock, Di Canio, Jewell, Coyle, Irvine, Pearce...actually, that's rather more than a handful, but i'm not quite in the "anyone but Lambert" camp.

That's where I am as well. I'm not suggesting he shouldn't be sacked because he should have gone straight after the Spurs last season but the next one needs to be right and there's not a great deal out there is there?

Drummond perhaps but with the other fan sites running similar threads something must be able to be organised! Are we just to lie down and keep taking this?

What I find remarkable is that Lerner seems to place absolutely no blame whatsoever on the manager. He's blamed the CEO and replaced him, he's blamed himself and offered to sell up, there's only one person left but he can't see it. Maybe every time he looks at Lambert his glasses steam up or something, like they do in the movies.

At work this morning I'm having the piss ripped out of me by a wolves fan and a Huddersfield fan. I've never felt so bad about what's happening at Villa in over 30 years as a fan. The whole club is an absolute shambles.

I'm beginning to think Randy and Paul  are the footballing equivalent of Elton John and David Furnish. But without any of the tinsel and makeup.

Not so long ago you'd be ridiculed for coming out with that sort of stuff and accused of going over the top, but do you know what, we are genuinely a laughing stock right now. We've gone 6 league games without scoring which is a club record. The worst part is that we equalled the worse run without scoring earlier this season (5 in a row) and then we go and break it in the same bloody season!
No wonder people are taking the piss!

Disappointing to hear no news from Villa Park about a resignation or dismissal😁

I honestly think McCleish was not as bad as this guy, at least he had a plan, not a very good one, but one after all, I think from today onwards  Lambert should now be known as TSM AND

After 23 games McLeish had 28 points on the board compare to the 22 we have now under Lambert.

Interesting change of tack from Lambert yesterday, publicly calling out the players for throwing the towel in yesterday.

He is correct of course but managers dont tend to last too long after such statements, they are his players after all.

The chairman is the reason we are not in the top six as we lack investment and direction! However this manager is the reason we sit in the bottom six and are staring at relegation

When you look at this squad we should be sitting similar to stoke and Newcastle! On paper we have better squads than qpr burnley Leicester Sunderland palace WBA hull and yet we are worse than most of them!

We have a spine consisting of guzan regarded as one of the best keepers in the league when fit a centre half regarded as one of the best players at the World Cup a midfielder who has recently been playing for england! Up front we have one of the brightest european strikers

Surrounding them we have a Scottish international an Irish international a Colombian international etc etc

This man is simply not getting the best out of this squad and it is not good enough! I lie the blame at his door yes the players aren't performing but it's job to get the best out of them!

Lerner has put an awful lot of money into this club and I don't expect him to keep putting it in! His faults are his lack of communication and his inability to sack this manager
