Lambert -   I have  formulated a  brilliant new tactical plan to ensure final victory on the field.

Westwood:     Now, would this brilliant plan involve us passing sideways, backwards and nowehere in particular  towards the opposition, boss?

Cleverely:        How can you possibly know that,Westwood? It's classified information.

Westwood:     It's the same plan that we used last time, and the

                68  times before that.

Lambert:       E-E-Exactly! And that is what so brilliant about it! We

will catch the watchful Premier League totally off guard! Doing

precisely what we have done  68 times before is exactly the last thing they'll expect us to do this time!

Indeed , in a post apocalyptic 2015/16 Championship scenario we would probably be fielding

------------ Steer---------------
Lowton.  Baker. Clark.  Luna.
Gardner. Westwood Sanchez ? Bacuna
          Weimann.  Gabby (c)

That teams struggling in the championship

So Okore, Hutton, Senderos, Gil, Nzogbia, Grealish, Benteke, Guzan, Given, Cissokho, Kozak would all be sold and not a penny spent? I'm pessimistic at the best of times but that's still a good £60m in fees there. No way would we field anything like the side you've put out.

That's the spirit.

The national press have NOT worked out the shit we are in. First off they have to get Happy Harry sacked.

They will work out as they did with Newcastle (the year they got relegated after 4 managers in a season) with six games to go. Then the pressure will be on - when one of the founders of the PL will be relegated.

Founder of PL relegated? Now we can't have  that stain on the entire history of football as Sky viewers know it can we?
OK next time I am going to join the protest now that I am aware of this grave situation.

I'm says that the fans who continue to support Lamber-  the "Lambert Apologists" deserve relegation. I'll stand firm by this.

We're all pissed off, but this is bullshit.
And is almost identical to what brian was saying a few days ago.

I'm struggling to see the difference except somebody hasn't thrown their teddy out the pram.

I just wish he would play bloody 442 for a change with attacking wide midfielders / wingers . And two up front .
But no he persists with a flawed 4 DCM's in a crab like sideways operation . He's either very stubborn or very inept .

As I say, I stand firm by what I say. People who continue to support Lambert are doing nothing to support the club. It's like giving your backing to Yono's unwanted influence on the Beatles; it'll just in tears.

Or an unhealthy mixture of both

He is just inept. If he were stubborn he would have persisted with his coaching and player selection philosophy come what may but he has been changing like a Bollywood actress😢

What I don't understand about the press is that at the start of the season they were making a massive song and dance about how few Burnley had scored.  It was mentioned in every sentence uttered about them.

We're now in a position where they're one goal away from having scored double our tally and whilst it gets a bit of a mention about us every now and again the press put it down to bad luck as Lambert's such a good manager in their eyes.

Maybe, just like his mentor, Lambert is going for the "the Press' darling" approach.

This is plain silly. Most of us backed Lambert to start with and with time we have changed out mind. People who still back him are every right to do so.

Why can't he just play good old W-M, anyway. None of this 'midfielder' nonsense, what's wrong with half-backs? Bring back the pyramid!

Maybe, but they are completely wrong. And nothing will prove me wrong.
