Why haven't we got an assistant manager?

Lambert has clearly shown he can't do it himself. Why haven't we got someone in to help him? Keane left two months ago. Maybe if we get a proper grown up in, things might improve.

Although the OS still shows Keane as assistant manager, unsurprisingly.

I honestly think its down to confidence.  Lambert's is so shot that he's just circling the wagons now, no one new comes in to see the pigs ear he's making of it.

Classic early signs of withdrawal and ultimate breakdown.

Because the new manager will want to bring his own
Not a chance in hell this is happening. We are Blackburn Rovers

What new manager? Remember that he has had a four year extension to his contract after beating Liverpool away.
Apologies I slipped into Championship Manager mode

I've checked and Bournemouth played a weakened side in the 5-1 win away to Rotherham last round.

Leyton Orient rested players in the Legue Cup game !

Do we know how much it would cost to pay Lambert up in full on the remainder of his contract ?

Spend the Tom Cleverly money on changing the Manager.

Not at all. About £2 million. Compare that to relegation. It's not rocket fucking science.

Bournemouth have scored 8 goals in the city of Birmingham this season. We've scored 7.

The Blackpool goal made it 8! So that stat isn't at all embarrassing now.

Apparently "we peppered their goal and dominated the game"

No and no

Have to say, I really think we're going to lose. Bournemouth are a good side.
I say we'll win the game albeit being badly outplayed. Lambert says "we thoroughly deserved the win" and Randy rewards him with yet another extra year added to his contract.
