There will be hardly any Villa fans in the ground versus Bournemouth though. At least at the Liverpool game there will be +35k probably.

If he goes now, this week, who do you want in?  Realistic & available.

I truly wish there were a tipping point at which we could get rid of him before the damage he does becomes terminal and takes seasons of recovery but I believe the four year contract was a statement of intent aimed at the fans. Lerner and Fox have made their decision and that is the end of it as far as they are concerned. If Tom Fox allows all this scarcely veiled contempt for the fans to continue to go on unchecked when a new owner moves in I hope he gets the sack as well.

We've already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you've got to go
Oh you had better go now.
Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me cry.
I don't want you to tell us
Just what you intend to do now.
'Cause how many times do we have to tell you
Lambert, Lambert
We're not in love
With you now?

We've already said ‘So long’
We want to see you go.
Oh you had better go now.

Go now. Go now. Go now
Don't you even try telling us
That you don't want it to end this way
'Cause, Lambert,  Lambert,
Can't you see we don't want you to stay?

We've already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you've got to go
Oh you had better go now.

Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me cry.
I don't want you to tell us
Just what you intend to do now.
'Cause how many times do we have to tell you
Lambert, Lambert,
We're not still in love,
Still in love,
With you now?

Apologies to The Moody Blues.

Fair point.  But there seems little point in 50 pages of 'he must go' without even considering if there's any alternatives at the same time!

Looks to be pretty academic discussion now - he's not going anywhere

This has all the hallmarks of that tit who managed Blackburn a couple of years ago. Forgot his name.

He was an unmitigated disaster, yet they stuck with him, went down and still stuck with him until the penny finally dropped that they were headed firmly in the direction of league One.

And look where they are now
