Is it safe to assume that Lambert isn't going to be sacked, regardless of how bad it gets?
Sadly looks that way. If he isn't sacked tomorrow I'd say highly unlikely and no plan B as such at present .

If we get nothing from the next 3 League games and Bournemouth knock us out of the FA Cup (more than feasible), then Lerner surely has no choice.

We keep saying this don't we? I just wonder whether Lambert and Lerner have a pact due to something that has happened at the club and now Lambert is promised that he won't be sacked. The Villa job cost Lambert his marriage, the Culverhouse/Karsa thing, God knows. It flies in the face of what Lerner said about ambition after TSM was sacked. It's not good enough, that's why we let him go. Yet, we keep hold of an even worse Manager in Lambert. It doesn't make sense. Lambert HAS to go.

He deserves the boot for the last three games, nevermind the next, probably the most boring, uninventive shite I've seen at villa in a long time.

Perhaps it would have been acceptable in a manager's first season, not his third.

Boot him out.

That statement should depress me but instead it gives me hope. Can't believe I am contemplating 4 defeats on the bounce as a potential good thing.

We should not be expected  to get anything in the next 3 games anyway, they are the 'big boys' (sarcasm hat on)'
So, he has 3 freebies right now.

I think the crowd's reaction will have the largest impact. Sorry I've been with my head in the clouds a bit this weekend - I've had things even more important (gasp!) to think about than football - but what was the reaction to Lambert like at Leicester?

Simple solution is nobody turn up against Bournemouth in the FA Cup. It isn't as if we have a history of doing well in the competition for the last 50+ years. The only way Lerner will notice is if there are only away fans at the game.

Extremely hostile. Chants of "Lambert Out" throughout the game and at the end. Most of our 3,300 joined in. There was also a chant of "you don't know what you're doing" when Sanchez was taken off. The chanting was very loud - everyone in the ground would have heard it loud and clear. Lambert remained seated all match.

https://www.change.org/p/aston-villa-football-club-remove-paul-lambert/share?after_sign_exp=default&just_signed=true

Right signed this as I do think it is a productive step.  What I don't think is productive is to boo or to sing anti-Lambert songs at matches.  No matter how much you want change, when you go to the match you suppor the team, to do otherwise is counter productive, and in this case wouldn't make a difference anyway.

I don't want to be in this situation but I do believe booing and jeering will help to get rid of the manager.

I'm a little surprised its not been heard much earlier.

I disagree.

For two reasons. Either he'll do what he's done several times, puncture a run of abysmal form with a win totally out of character which buys him time, prior to embarking on another, almost identical abysmal run, or Lerner will doggedly stick with him, despite the total lack of logical reasons to do so.

Also, I was talking about the negative effect such things can have on the players.  Besides which there are plenty of other forums to try in a constructive way to force change.

I think the Bolton game is the way to go, full support to the team for 90 minutes then all stay and let rip
