At our current scoring rate we will finish the season with 20 goals (19.90 to be precise). That is woeful and has relegation written all over it.

And is less than Derby, the lowest scorers in Premier League history scored that season (current goal rate is 0.51, theirs was 0.52)

I read today that after the same number of games we've managed to score one more than them. Viva Lambert!

This is it for me. In previous season's, we've created chances. This season we're not and to be honest, you can't see it changing any time soon either.

The fault still lays with Lerner for me. He's never appointed the right man for us to be excited about, he has lost all ambition after the first 2-3 seasons he bought us, he's cut back on everything and doesn't want to own the club any more.

Lerner is getting away with a lot more than he should and is using Lambert has his shit shield.

100% we will be relegated in last position unless we improve on that stat. We can't even create let alone score. Poor discipline and injuries thrown in and I can't see how we can escape unless we change the management structure.

Totally agree but right now we need results to show a dramatic improvement and that means short term Lambert must leave ASAP.

True, but I have zero trust in him appointing the right man to get us out of this depressing state and take us forward when he doesn't care about the club he owns. We just keep going round in circles.

I have zero trust too but unless someone buys the club Lerner picking the replacement is our only option.

So either Lambert stays or Lerner picks his replacement. Thats a bit like being asked whether you'd like to eat cat shit or dog shit?

Can anyone tell me why we bought Cissokho to be our wingback either? The bloke cannot cross the road, solid and sound defensively by and large but once he gets across the half way line he's guaranteed to give the ball away, this is no big secret, it's what Liverpool fans were saying. So why has Lambert bought him and decided he's going to be one of our two main attacking outlets... the other being Alan Hutton.

That's the thing.

Hutton, who I think is our best player this season, constantly looks our most threatening attacking outlet because he gallops up field. That's bad, not because it's Alan Hutton, but because when your right back fills that role, you're in trouble.

Cissokho to me looks capable defensively, but he gets up the pitch and puts a ball in, and you could run a spot the ball competition on where it's going to end up.

Oh for a fans forum with Lambert, he'd be made to look a mug.

Today we could have easily gone 3=5=2 at half time to change the pattern and try and push their wide players back, but we are so bloody rigid to a system.
