Didn't realise the season had changed to January to December. Shocking, sack him and get Warnock in.

39 points in 40 games is great stuff, presumably? Good job the Christmas decorations are still up, they can double as bunting.

And yet Lambert has the safest job in football, it really is unbelievable that the club have not dismissed him.
Yes it's a terrible record however we have not been the worst team in this period as those teams have been relegated and are not in this list. Still horrific stats.

Extremely damning, but not very surprising stats.

Show me a manager that could have done any better...
No can't think of anyone  other than may be McLeish?

No, lets not judge him on the season so far, lets judge him on the full set of appalling statistics.

Defending Lambert in the face of those statistics is frankly laughable. Even if you want him to remain in charge there's no way to spin his record to look anything other than terrible.

Or judge him in May, or when he has his best side for a decent run of games, or given some money. Didn't hear any booing on Sunday or Paul out chants.

People are judging him two and a half years into his reign. What's wrong with that?

2 & half years if injuries, inheriting TSM squad, no real money.

He kept us up.

His remit shouldn't be keeping us up. It should be a mid table finish for now. He managed to do that with Norwich.

You say that he inherited TSM's squad. He only brought in three players, one of which was Hutton who you've been praising recently.

You genuinely can't see that whichever way you carve it up, he's barely managing to keep us and every sign is that the lifeblood of gaining points - scoring goals - is being / has been drained out of us.

I don't know how old you are, but the equivalent period from the medium past that resonates most with me was under Atkinson where we went ma couple of months and barely scored.

The difference was when he came out and said the goals would come people tended to believe him, as we could all see the chances being created and weren't surprised when we twated Spurs 5-2 at White Heart Lane.

When Lambert says the goals will come, he's lacking some basic evidence to back that up. Barely averaging a shot on target per game for most of the season being the biggest hole in the argument.
