It seems, unfortunately, that the only way he will be sacked is for the fans to really turn on him. We all know we don't like doing it but other than the gates dropping to 10k, remonstrating seems to he the answer. Lerner just doesn't seem to give a toss for results.

It is with great regret that I think he should go sooner rather than later. I say regret because I think he is a decent bloke who has worked hard to make it work. He has never bad mouthed the club or supporters. He has given youth a chance, which we all wanted. I also think the team are still playing for him which in itself is remarkable these days. He has been found lacking though and its clear we may finally succumb this year. A new Manager needs January and any funds available to do something about

Same.  Lambert comes across as a really nice bloke.  Really wants the club to succeed and never bad mouths the supporters. Unfortunately it's just not worked out.

At the end of the say, when all is said and done, this.

Agreed.

Could much the same not have been said of McLeish?

Yes, you could have said the same for McLeish, and he too had to go for everybody's good.  I think from a purely footballing perspective, we've been there or thereabouts for a good while now.

I think we're now approaching the point where he needs to go for the sake of his own health.  It can't be good knowing that you're under performing, your team is under performing and you don't know how to do anything about it.
Because if he does know how to rectify it, why the f&%king hell have we only taken 17 points from the last 19 games, scoring a whopping 11 goals on our way to a GD of -20?

Maybe he'd make a good assistant manager?
At the local Fish and Chip shop?

No chip shops have to be run properly. He will end up frying carrots and serving them up with mushy potatoes  and describe it all as excellent grub.

It could, and indeed it has been said several times on here since he was relieved of command.

Darius Vassell interviewed about our plight on 5Live, and missing the point by a mile, bless him.
