Don't know if this has been covered but My mate said people were fighting over Lambert at Burnley

I didn't witness any fighting.  But there was a typical divide of people that were anti and pro Lambert.  I only witnessed verbals.

Pretty bad by me over on the far right hand side.

Not sure how much of it was truly'Lambert' related though. Seemed like tanked up blokes who would have had a pop at anyone really.

AVST have just launched a snap poll on Lambert.

If anyone votes to keep him, I would dearly want to know why. It would seem perverse to me.

in what way? Fighting to land the first punch, or fighting amongst themselves in respect of their differing views?

Fighting with punches, he said he was shocked because he didn't think there was much support left for Lambert

Sadly, I voted to boot him out.

I didn't see any of that, the overall majority that I spoke to (and I was sober too) were to a man saying that he has to go. How can anyone defend this situation anymore?  For me, he could win his next 3 games and I would still want him out. I've seen enough in his tenure to make a reasonable decision, that he is not up to the job.

It is with great regret that I think he should go sooner rather than later. I say regret because I think he is a decent bloke who has worked hard to make it work. He has never bad mouthed the club or supporters. He has given youth a chance, which we all wanted. I also think the team are still playing for him which in itself is remarkable these days. He has been found lacking though and its clear we may finally succumb this year. A new Manager needs January and any funds available to do something about it.

Completely agree with this. I admire his loyalty and desire to succeed at the club, I just don't think he's up to it. I also look at the job that Pulis did with Palace last season and think about him coming to do a similar thing with us, a bigger club with a better squad of players. Get him in now and I genuinely think we'd finish top 10 this season.

Same.  Lambert comes across as a really nice bloke.  Really wants the club to succeed and never bad mouths the supporters. Unfortunately it's just not worked out.

I've had enough but I agree.

It's always sad when it gets to this point, except in David O'Leary's case.

Maybe he'd make a good assistant manager?
