I'm not knocking Senderos . He is what he is. He has done well in 3 or 4 games for us , he's now injured which you expect with him. I don't think I was as exasperated by his signing as Joe Cole . I recall the 0-2 loss at craven cottage last year when Senderos and Hangelaand were pretty solid for the full game .

Ok, so because he was rushed back by his country and a ref gave him the benefit of the doubt he is now shit.
Senderos doesn't have the best injury track record. I'm pleased how he's played when he's been fit to play, but Lambert chose to sign another injury prone player and that he's injured is no real surprise.

Lambert knows how good Okore is and but needed back up, no fee, decent wages, nailed on.  As for Cole, meh, no fee again and wages not like MON had on players he paid huge fees for.

Still £20-25K per week that could have been used on someone who can cope with more than 20 minutes per month.

Indeed.

No fee, that's true, but we are always told the problem is the wage bill, and it didn't take particular nous to work out Cole wouldn't play many games.

If you subscribe to the Football On The Fone text service you'll have just received this gem.......

Paul Lambert defends his decision to send striker Darren Bent out on loan to Brighton.
'We just play a different way' (Sky Sports)

Hahahaha good one Paul, I think you mean game, not way.

What's the different way .

Never keeping possession , never creating , hardly getting a shot on target , never mind scoring.

Yes a brilliant way lambert.

We do play a different way, 11 men defending, so no need for attackers, send them all out on loan.

We play in a different way - ie one where you don't need strikers as you won't be bothering the opposition goalkeeper much.

I know he has to say something most of the time, but I hear some of the stuff Lambert comes out with and it is like he's talking about another club.

Does he think he's the manager of Everton or something?

Its all going to turn nasty with villa fans soon , you can see it.

If he had gone after sheff utd , I thought he should have gone then. Then we would have said nice bloke ,didn't work out , out of his depth , good luck to him .

But now it will start to turn ugly , fans are starting to get abusive on media sites about him and getting pretty upset .

Its going to get horrible for Mr Lambert

He will get a new 8 year contract and a Paul Lambert stand named after him.

I have a strong feeling that tomorrow will be that day. And if you are going and we lose as expected give the bloke hell. This has gone on at least a season if not two too long

Surely personal pride after 3 years of failure would make you walk. Clearly he wants the pay off.

So alongside his first bunch of bullying assistants and most of the players he signed being sold/loaned/dropped he now sees his second assistant manager throw in the towel... when is it going to end? Soon hopefully.

Don't see how it's expected we'll lose. But yes kick off it will if we do.
