Our next appointment needs to be bold and ambitious. More than likely somebody that's currently in work.  Benitez has been making noises about coming back to the UK.  Lerner could/should put his money where his mission statements are and go and get him.

Benitez or a manager of that level / gravitas is where I'd aim. The whole club needs a lift.
I think we have a mid table squad that a top class manager would get so much more out of.

Do you honestly believe that Randy will be willing to fund the sort of transfer budget Benitez would demand? We're not in that game at the moment.

Lerner strikes me as a man full of erratic and random decisions. Anything is possible.

The very annoying thing is despite playing woeful football we should really have had 5 more points from spurs and saints. West ham was a solid but brutally depressing 0-0 for the football purist.

We go into December without a single goal at the Holte End...I can't actually remember too many shots at the Holte either.

And we still have only 2 goalscorers.

Both stats are truly incredible. Our defenders would possibly get on the scoresheet if we were capable of actually putting in a decent free-kick or corner. Bacuna was 2nd top scorer last season wasn't he? He cant even get in the team.

I just saw in the Southampton post match thread that in the last 18 league games, we have scored 1 goal in the second half. Include Leyton, and it is 19 games. Just an unbelievable stat ! Pathetic. Says a lot about our second half substitutions and willingness to "go for it".

The Liverpool and Arsenal jobs might be available in the relatively near future, even Spurs. Benitez wont be waiting too long for an offer from one of those.
