On another note, has a manager with such a pathetic, embarrassing record ever been given an easier run by the media? I know journalists rely on access to info from the club but I can't remember a single honest appraisal of Lambert, he isn't to be pitied for the restrictions he has 'endured' he should be held to account for the lack of progress.

Randieri available. Also Advocaat-though I like to wait till Xmas to make a snowball with mine.

Great shout, just lost to a team who have not won in 18 years...oh, wait a minute, you hate managers who break records.

It must be if you've just managed to post on it.

As Homer Simpson would say, 'Doh'.

Are you saying you wouldn't take either of those at the moment?
Btw, I don't hate any manager.

Claudio "Just Been Sacked for Losing At Home to the Faroe Islands" Ranieri? Yes, that's just who we need.

That's one hell of a middle name.

I won't be there on Monday for a variety of reasons. Bad fan.
Nor us Legion.  But as we sit in the Trinity, according to Westley, it really doesn't matter if we're there or not!

Marcelo Biesla.  Although he's now the current manager of Marseille, he's declared his interest (via the media) before.

Bold ambitious appointment and would ruffle feathers.  Known for playing attack minded football, with a great ethos.

He's mad, and would be a breath of fresh air at Villa Park.

Bielsa is one of my favourite managers. He's a lunatic.

Apparently he's also being lined up by Barcelona if Luis Enrique continues to struggle. I can't see us being high up his list of things to do.

Villa>Barcelona  What's the difference?

I'd also be looking at Aitor Karanka at 'Boro.

from the outside he seems to be doing a superb job.  Though I'd be worried about his lack of experience.
Wish we'd have gone for Mancini.

It was "Nigel" but he changed it by Deed Poll last week.
