I "sit" in the Trinity - to be with the friends I've been going with for years...some of the older bods do need a bit of stimulation before they start singing and shouting (even I was surprised by some of the galvanised, choral efforts v Sunderland (6-1), ManCiŁy and Chelsea but it was there!), and there's nothing they'd rather be doing at home, but to be honest they've not had a lot to excite them and plenty to concern and frustrate them over their love of their Villa. Like a lot of Villa fans they are being worn down by the dross that's been on offer for the last 4 years.
And I'll be at Burnley...and Palace...and Swansea...

UTV!

Probably Neil. You can always lubricate yourself against it and come up The Bartons before the game for a beer!

The size of the crowds is the bigger embarrassment.

Our away support is second to none, but a VP it is one of the worst atmospheres, due to lack of numbers and the Trinity Road fans.

UTV

You're now having a pop at those that go to the games?

The atmosphere is shite because we've been consistently witnessing some of the worst top flight football in Europe.

If we actually got behind the team and filled the stadium we might get a bit a bit more from the team and maybe intimidate the opposition.

Surely the fact they are paid obscene amounts of money for merely kicking a ball round a field should mean we got a "bit more" from the team?

From MON's last year we're now putting up with our 6th consecutive season of poor football at home. The average crowd had gone above 40,000 before that. Maybe if we had a decent product to watch they'd come back?

You have just proved my point.

That a massive amount of fans are fickle.

So me shouting at a 20 odd year old millionaire will have more effect on him than the daily coaching and management regime directed and coordinated by a highly trained millionaire? Well fuck me. Chelsea must have the best fans in the premiership then.

"A massive amount of fans are fickle"

Do you include yourself, the fan who promised earlier in this thread never to set foot in Villa Park again if Pullis took over as manager

"through thick and thin", you also said, when you were trying to one-up yourself against a more serious poster

What on earth does my age have to do with anything?

If it helps my first Villa game was in 1985.

Using the F word on a Villa forum is just asking to start an argument

Someone who comes on here to have adult discussions without accusing their detractors of being fickle or not as good a fan as you.

But, I forgot, someone called you a silly name, apologised, deleted it but you're still dining out on the faux outrage.

Anyway, I'm serious too so I won't be replying to the silly response I suspect you'll be making to this
