West Ham have Teddy Sheringham working with their forwards this season, why can't we get a specialist coach in ?
Is that really doing anything?

Surely West Ham are scoring more goals because they now have much better strikers instead of Carlton Cole and Modibo Maiga lumbering around up front.

If they had the same strikers as last season and were scoring lots more then I might agree that picking a random former striker to come in coach might be the answer. But they don't, and it isn't.

We don't need specialist coaching for strikers, we need attacking midfielders/wingers who actually create chances for them.

Looks like Moyes is off to Real Sociedad so if Lambert goes he is off the list of options ...

Today we were generally poor as per usual.2.5 years and the team has no style or cohesion.A narrow uninspired midfield with Fullbaks left to provide width single handily.Just so very poor.

Missed out again Randy....Christ he'd probably appoint Peter Reid if he sacked Lambert

We'll probably even miss out on Pulis too. By the time Randy pulls his finger out and pull the trigger, Pulis will be back in work.

It'll be as you were for the next fortnight - aside from the fact I don't believe Lerner would sack a manager mid season, I also don't think a draw is enough of a disappointment to force the issue.

We need Jesus of Nazareth to turn this shower of shit into anything resembling an attacking threat. Failing that, Paul Daniels or Ali Bongo.

It would be good if we had coaches who told players what job was expected of them. If Villa had shape we might not panic so much and forget how to pass to a team-mate who's a handful of yards away.

Steve Clarke, Rene Meulensteen are both available. Not great managers but first class coaches. Get them in!

Paul Daniels and Debbie McGhee could do a job. Or maybe Phil Daniels and Alan McGeeh. Or Bobby Gentry and ... oh fuck it.

I'd take Father Ted and his fake arms at this point. I'd also stick Father Jack up front because he's in better shape than Bent or Agbonlahor.

''Excellent '' performance today ...look I know you don't want to criticize in public but dear god that was nothing like an excellent performance.

We have zero cohesion in the team. The forwards don't link up together ,the midfield in turn doesn't link up the forwards and the FB's are left isolated to try and provide the attacking thrust. His tactics are limited and have been found out

Just eleven goals in the last twenty games and five of them against a Hull side who never turned up .Tells you everything you need to know about Lambert and his approach to the game

Indeed. Thank jesus/buddha/allah for Hull City.  Shame Norwich aren't still around to take points off and we've been to Anfield already.

Generally speaking the Lambert contract extension is looking as perplexing and potentially damaging a decision as the McLeish appointment.
