Oh no not Pullis, what would be the point, as a bloke I quite like him but as our manager no thanks. We must be able to do better. I think Keane would have enough to keep us up and would be a better long term bet.

Also, to use our next opponents as a benchmark, what would the football media be saying if Spurs were battling relegation for the 4th time in a row?  Or Everton?  I can remember the latter doing just that for years, what has changed in the world since then that we are seen as fair game for this bollox?  It's what happens when your manager talks down your prospects for 4 years: everyone including the fucking staff believe it.

He needs a win tomorrow.  And he needs to follow it up with not losing for a bit.  Even them I suspect he knows the game's up.

We're seen as fair game for the drop because we're a poor side led by a manager that doesn't have a clue, who himself has been employed (and rewarded for failure) by an owner who isn't very interested in buying footballers for his club.

While I thought the football under McLeish was dire and he should never have been manager of our great club, at least he spoke well unlike the current manager who mumbles his way chatting nonsense. How can he motivate players is beyond me. Sir Ron was allegedly a dour person, but he spoke and you listened absolute madness

If that was happening at Spurs it would be armageddon.  But, I agree totally.  It's top-down.

Maybe we sent a message asking him what size baseball cap he wears?

I hate baseball caps. Any adult wearing a baseball cap is not to be trusted.

Not interested in Pulis but glad to hear Randy might be ready to kill the sacred cow Lambert.

I wear a baseball cap.  You have a point Chris because I am certainly not to be trusted.

The Libertines had a line about there being few more distressing sights than an Englishman in a baseball cap. I thought that was quite good, even though I can't stand them (see what I did there?).

Pulis might not play brilliant football, but at least it would be effective.
