It's all a bag of shit. He should have been sacked twelve months ago. More records broken by Lambert last night I see! 5 defeats on the spin without scoring. Absolutely embarrassing and yet we reward him with a nice new contract. Shit manager.

I've never really been that convinced by Moyes, and I just can't shake the feeling that were he to come here we would see precisely no change whatsoever. He's a better manager than Lambert, but he's still very similar - he's just a nicer cutting from the same dull, plodding, overrated Scottish tree. We need a manager who will actually do things differently, and change the mentality and the style.

Is it too much to ask to find a manager that wants to play a bit of football? Is there nobody else on the planet than the same old names? Give me someone who teaches the players to love the ball, keep it and pass it to each other. Even Garry Monk has managed to do that, and most of us thought who's Garry Monk and thought he'd be gone by now.

I watched Burnley lose to Everton on Sunday and found myself thinking, well at least Dyche has got them organised, they play to a plan, they know what they're doing and creating a few chances.  If he'd got slightly better players they'd actually have chance of staying up.

Compare and contrast.

Correct.

He has a new 4-year contract. How exactly do you suggest we get rid of him?

The fucking chairman can pay for it out of his own pocket, it was his idea.

Exactly. A fool and his money are easily parted.

That 4 year contract for Lambert was almost McCleishesque... Actually I can "some" reasoning in appointing McLeish

There have been 4 moments when he could have been sacked and no-one would have kicked up too much of a fuss.

Given that it was after only 9 minutes that Gabby scored against Liverpool, (and that wasn't as a result of anything other than Liverpool can't defend corners) it's now been 531 minutes or 8 hours and 51 minutes since we last scored and that's not including injury time.

Of the other 3 goals we've managed, if I remember rightly Weimann's against Stoke was a result of a lucky break on the edge of their area which leaves us with two "well worked" goals against Hull.

It all looks shit on the surface and the more you dig the worse it gets.

I'm done with him, I've been a big supporter of his but we're fucking woeful.

Whenever we do get a good result a fucking spanking is waiting for us round the corner, it's like being held captive and being fed just enough to keep you alive, so they can inflict more pain on you.

Corrdct. We'll probably beat Tottenham, draw with West Ham before a 4-0 v Southampton and defeat at burnley by 3.

That's shocking. I suggest you stop the digging now, or if you carry it on you need to shovel it onto Randy's desk.

So since being manager, Lambert is the proud holder of:

Our heaviest ever defeat.

Most home defeats in a season

First top flight club to be beaten over two legs in a cup semi

First time we've ever lost five games without scoring.

Does anybody know what the record is for consecutive defeats?  That'll surely be the next one to fall.

I thought he had also captured to longest run of games without a win prize.

He should have bolstered the coaching staff - shame we never approached Steve Clarke at least temporarily. I still can't understand how Lambert got away so unblemished by the bullying scandal of his staff. It happened on his watch, wtf was he doing at the time, doing an O'neill and going nowhere near the training ground?

Is Noris McWhirter still alive? Might be worth checking with him?

during the game yesterday besides wanting to throw my beer bottle at the TV and get arrested I honestly could not believe how horrendously poor we looked. Devoid of not only ideas but any drive or desire. The players knew they were beaten and the longer it went the more outwardly apparent it became.

Personally, whoever replaces Lambert, I'd like them to come in and replace every single coach. I feel like we're so rotten we just need a total clearout. And possibly an exorcism.

The thing is, people will look at those records in years to come and try to imagine how bad it was to watch, and they won't even come fucking close.
