The thing that worries me about the club i have followed through thick and thin for over 50 years is that the WHOLE club are in a dire state. I know most fans could not give a shit about the reserve and youth teams and only worry about the first team.I can understand that, but to me it just shows how badly the club is being managed

Already this season, the youth team have been smashed 12-2 at Chelsea and 6-1 against the Baggies, while only last week i was present at the Hawthorns to see the reserves thrashed 4-1

Lambert is the man who picks the coaches and staff and dictates the style of play, so the buck stops with him. While he remains in charge ,sadly i fear it is only going to get a lot worse

I believe the best chance we have is for Lambert to walk, i know there is a lot of money involved but i think for all his ineptness as a manager he is a decent bloke, if enough pressure is put on by the supporters it could happen.

Out manouvered by Harry. We had grip on game and they couldnt get hold of the ball so they bring on Hoillet to give them an out ball which works.Meanwhile Lambert dwaddles they score and then he changes it ala MON at the 70min mark.

I feel confident in saying had Kozak been fit he would have gone for the trusty lets just stick all the strikers I have on the pitch tactic that worked so well against the giants that Bradford City.

The guy has no clue and 100% he would have been sacked by any other clubs months ago.He has gotten lucky with teams being worse than us ..i doubt he will be that lucky this time

And for fuck sake how are we continually getting players injured in training !!

So many people have hit the nail on the head here.... we are so boring to watch! We as fans never ever go into a game with confidence thinking we might win! We never look like winning a game big it's just a painful slow death in games mostly!

The games at the start of the season were a smoke screen we got lucky being organised and we are now back to the same old dross all over the pitch!

We need a change he has to go! We need new ideas freshening up a different direction!

For the first time ever I'm considering not even bothering Sunday I comeback now demoralised depressed so why do it! There's better things to do with my time!

The fans have to make it absolutely clear we want him out!

I think your right Chris, we're going to have to keep muddling through until the club is sold. I do wonder though if Lambert will eventually walk?

I much preferred to be in the mindset of while we're muddling through until a new buyer is available Lambert fortunes change and we play some decent football. It's very hard to feel any confidence from the last 5 games and our form on August seems a distant memory.

Lambert and the team need a right kick up the arse and shook up.
he won't get sacked. Not by Lerner anyway. My thoughts on it are Lambert could have probably got another job in the summer if he'd wanted one. Lerner was looking to sell the club, as we know, but needed continuity. So he's probably said something along the lines of: stick around next season, I'll give you a new deal. Then once the sale goes through, you can either stay on if you like, but if the new owner doesn't want you, then you'll get a decent payout.

Not an ideal scenario, but would've probably been something like that.

Things will only be able to improve significantly if or when we get a buyer with a bit of cash and a bit of nous.

As others have pointed out if there was a poll of RPeniership fans as to who you would like to see relegated for footballing entertainment reasons then we would top the list, probably even among Villa fans.

This clown has to be binned. Like having 3 seasons of a hybrid of Graham Turner and TSM. This season we could chuck in a dollop of Billy McDuff. Painful in the extreme.

Also there are 3 lunatics who want to give him the rest of the season.

I admire your optimism. I don't share it.

No passion. No drive, no will. No attacking flair for too long. Sticking with players who have failed, over and over again. Playing decent players in roles they won't function. Being rigid to one formation continuously, and just not seemingly having a fucking clue. Time to go. Please fucking god.

The other clueless bafoon at West Ham they could not afford to sack to the board in the summer directed him to buy forwards and add flair because they could see they needed it, and needed to be more flexible than hoof to Carroll.

I would take Pulis in a heartbeat over Lambert. Palace played with width and belief. We are always so damned narrow. I would give my right foot for Puncheon and Bolasie.

That's not depressing. The fact we have a manager who isn't fit to lace their training boots is depressing.

Bin him. Absolutely useless. Mumbling the usual bollocks again. Surely if Benteke needs 6 or 7 games then reintroudce him gradually like any other manager would.

Is Okore injured because if he isn't he must utterly dire to not get in ahead of Baker and Clark

He still has the safest job in the league, inexplicably.
