Lambert staying is fine. The fact that we are just for sale and not sold is extremely concerning however. That means less money for players not more.

Shit.

It is May 19th. The FA Cup final was two days ago. The current domestic football season in England is officially not even over. If you are writing this on July 19th I'd much more inclined to agree with you. But there is nothing to worry about yet.
Spot on

Leicester having money doesn't make them safe. Nor are Palace suddenly an established Premier League team all of a sudden.

There will be 10 or so clubs all 'capable' of the drop. Same as every season.

I think its possible Lerner has put something to Lambert that gives him an additional payout should the new owners turf him out and Lambert has agreed to it but this puts the club in a very difficult situation with persuading players like Vlaar Guzan and Delph to stay on plus attracting new players to join us, strange uncertain times.

It's hard to believe Lambert is set to go into a third season as villa manager. He really has to get off to a flyer next season.

I am optimistic at worst of times but it is only  8 weeks and logic says CB is correct.

Ron Toss giving Lambert a bit of a grilling about transfer funds, after 2 minutes of trying to avoid answering he finally said ''people have got to remember the clubs up for sale, that's a big answer''

Doesn't sound like there's much in the pot to me. Hope I'm wrong.

what was Palaces form in the last four mths , alot better than ours , No money doesnt make you safe , but Leicester are not going to be easy relegation fodder , in fact Pearson is a good manager

I doubt very much that you are wrong.

If RL was cutting back in recent years, there is no way he is going to take risks now that we are up for sale/being sold. After all, this is a transitional period to beat all the other transitional periods we have endured into a cocked hat. This is the mother of all transitional periods.

A modest transfer chest and a sight loosening of the wages cap are most likely.

We limp on again.

the one thing that is my biggest gripe with Lambert ignoring the tactics , formations , players out of position ,  the shite performances , the embarrassing cup exits is...    I am ignoring most of the signings too

what the f**k was he doing when Culverhouse and Karsa were being c**** down the Villa .

This isn't meant to be a snide comment. But in this situation we really need the fans to get behind the club and tolerate some struggles. After four years of this shit and with lambert still in charge i just can't see the crowd's patience lasting

This season is gonna be a real struggle unless lambert can pull some rabbits out the hat over the summer
