Just heard lambert interviewed by Tom Ross.
It's confirmed one thing for me, I really can't bare the thought of having to listen to him for this coming season!
Come on randy, get us sold

Lambert staying is fine. The fact that we are just for sale and not sold is extremely concerning however. That means less money for players not more.

Shit.

Fan-fucking-tastic.

I'm literally creaming myself with excitement at the thought of the upcoming season.

This is probably the worst outcome, he signs 3 or 4 on big money the club is sold and he leaves with a new manager not wanting his players.

Is that Croatian bloke we were paying £60k a week to play regularly for his national team still signed up?

It's worrying. Lets not forget we went backwards last season and our form over the last quarter of the season was relegation form. Can Lambert turn that around? I will be having a few quid on us for the drop just in case.

Well if we have no buyer I don't see how you can sell a job to someone when tomorrow he might have a new boss and his own manager in mind. The only real solution for me is keep Lambert on, give a bit more freedom to spend to steady the ship and hopefully we'll be ok. I still like Lambert and have a bit (not a lot) of faith he could do a job for us under different circumstances.

I also reckon over the last two years no manager in the world would have done any better using the formula we have tried. Purchasing players for 1-3 million and players who fit the wage structure, plus creating this bomb squad situation has been mission impossible.

Form, injuries and players not good enough has rocked us this season as well as Lambert letting the situation get out of control with his back room staff. Hopefully he can turn it around and get us back on track.

The Goalzone on FB is hilarious though.

I just heard him on the radio. I find it really depressing to think he might still be our manager come the start of the new season. I usually look forward to the start of a new season ,not this year .

Lambert staying with a bit of money to spend is the best we can hope for in the circumstances, if everyone is fit and we get 4 decent players in we'll be ok in the interim.

I suggest everyone just switches off now and looks forward to the World Cup.
What will be will be, can't be checking on lambert and out sale status everyday till probably July.
I think we will be sold and in time for the new owners to get their own 'team' in place.
No transfer activity will massively happen until post World Cup anyhow

Shit.

It is May 19th. The FA Cup final was two days ago. The current domestic football season in England is officially not even over. If you are writing this on July 19th I'd much more inclined to agree with you. But there is nothing to worry about yet.

Potentially another year of Lambert!! Shows me even more that Lerner doesn't give a damn for what the fans think. Saving shackles on Lambert might be a disaster unless he gives him some money to spend. Interesting to read that Lambert is already telling people that it'll be tough! Great way to sell those season tickets! I might be more enthused if he brought in a quality coach to replace Culverhouse.
