This is going to have a massive impact on season ticket sales and merchandise sales. And not in a good way

What a complete farce. I'm beginning to question why on earth Lerner issued that statement at all. I can see no reason for it as all its done is create more annoyance. Surely he could've just kept his trap shut (he's usually good at that if nothing else) and only commented when the sale was done?

So, we now have a manager the fans have lost complete faith in, an owner that's looking to sell and a small budget to supposedly strengthen the squad. These are hardly the ideal situations to entice new quality players in are they?

This club just lurches from one disaster to another. Wake me when it's all over

I didn't think Albrighton was that popular.

Dear oh dear.  I don't know whether to laugh or cry, I really don't.

That would probably be the best thing really, because people are getting frustrated that real life doesn't move as fast as social media.

I can't imagine Lambert saying any of that, his articulation wouldn't be up to it. Doogan presumably wrote it up and Lambo uttered a "Yeah, wha'ever, just don't be pinning this all on me laddie".

What is ironic is that he was one of our best players in the back end of the season, but that was not that hard, given how garbage most of them played.  Surprised he has offered Gardner a new deal but not one to Albrighton.

I'd agree on that. I am not a huge Albrighton fan, but he was one of our best players in the run in.

Really difficult to know what to say. It looks as if the club are nowhere near a sale. An unpopular manager is still with us and Albrighton our best player of the last couple of months is to leave.

Not very good is it.

On the bright side though Admin is rolling about on the floor liked a demented Basil Fawlty!

Completely agree, he stood out because of his energy and desire in the run-in. However, I've long been of the opinion that in terms of quality, he's a Championship player at best.

N'Zogbia will be back by August.

Sits back and opens popcorn.
