A minimum of £30 million needs to be sunk into the side. Not the squad, the first team.

With Norwich only reaching 33 points we surpassed that total for survival in early March with the win over Chelsea. Obviously there is no way of knowing that at the time but it does show that little buffer we had was always too much for the majority of the teams chasing.

Now, whatever it is let us put in place a set up that means we aren't back going through all the same permutations this time next year. Most will focus on the manager but, in reality, it is having better players that will be the key and for that we need money to be spent.

It's a combination, it's the manager, better players and just much better running of the club that are required.

We used to, and to a degree still do, seem quite happy to splash millions on very average players, for once please can we spend the money on a proper manager to sort this football club out.

Definitely. If Randy stays, he's got to be willing to do that.

Lambert is most certainly, in no way, the man to spend that either.

it wouldn't matter how much money you handed Lambert; he can't manage, he can't coach and he can't motivate. Oh, and he doesn't do tactics either.

So why did we appoint him and why did so many think he was a good appointment at the time.

you tell me but you can't argue with the facts. This season has been a record breaking disaster and it would not be tolerated at any other club. You can't go on blindly defending the indefensible.

That's just silly. The reason he got the job in the first place is that he had been able to do just that in his previous jobs. We would also be bottom of the table not 15th.

Managers are judged by results and they haven't been good enough so can have little complaint if he is dismissed. However, there are extenuating circumstances (cost cutting, injuries, issues with coaches) that if Lerner stays might be viewed as enough earn him a reprieve.

Because he had had one decent season in the Premier League and was content to work within strict financial constraints.  And because he followed TSM.

Moyes,Klinsmann,RDM and Mackay all 5-1
Say we do get new owners I can see Klinsmann
If Lerner stays then I think Moyes is nailed on

If Lerner stays, I think Lambert is nailed on.

Does Mr. Lerner only like Glaswegian managers then?!
