The sooner this abomination of a manager has gone, the better.

Nothing to play for, nothing to lose, all the freedom in the world and he sets us up like this. Abysmal.

It's not just the manager.

The whole club is set up to achieve nothing but mediocrity.

it's not about us losing 4-0 at Man City. It's about all the other teams who have looked significantly better than us.

A chairman who won't tell us if he wants to be here any more, a manager who doesn't know if he's going to be here much longer, a coaching team sacked a couple of weeks ago after apparently running amok for two years, a chief executive who is great at running restaurants but not much else, and a management ethos which is entirely aimed at staying in the top flight at the minimum wage bill cost.

There is absolutely no ambition, no positivity, no sign of improvement, and no hope for this club if we go on much longer like this.

None whatsoever.

The whole club is set up wrong and if it continues into next season we'll go down.

I know it's not just the manager. But just giving my thoughts on him in this thread.

I agree with you, we are a shambles from top to bottom.

He has successfully lowered the quality of the squad. That's what worries me. Without bringing in at least four or five premiership class players over the summer, keeping Benteke, we are screwed. This is a truly woeful Villa squad.

Possibly a bigger shambles than when we went down in 87. A clean sweep is needed from top to bottom otherwise relegation next season is a certainty. Pitiful.

There's so much needs to be changed at the club. It could be years before we get back on track. If nothing changes just make sure you get some money on us to drop next season.

We do need a break, at least these rumours give us something to hope for next season. As it is it's endless shit. Our good runs last 2 games maximum. We haven't won 3 in a row for 5 years or something stupid and this season it was our first back to back home wins in 3 years. Our bad runs normally last between 7-12 games. It's all got a bit monotonous.

Lamberts teams.
Our mistakes.
Lamberts drone.
Faulkeners PR.
Randys silence.
The defeats.
The cup ''shocks''.
Our transfer policy.
The substitutions.

The squad is the weakest I remember, including Gt2 with Leonhardson in the side!

He looked the most beaten I've seen him look in his interview, like he's had enough.

Well he needs a win at spurs to equal last season's points total. Sadly there has been no progress. His young, hungry players who were supposed to improve haven't.
