Get rid of him immediately.

Utterly clueless and has absolutely no interest anymore. Randy, before you fuck off and leave us in a worse state than you found us, do the right thing. Please.

I would sack him now. I am not sure it would have a positive impact, but by the same token I don't see how it can make it worse.

We are going to finish with three fewer points than McLiesh managed and that is gross indictment.

Glad I haven't got 200 million riding on Lambert, that is my only comfort but no consolation

I agree. Unless the players are monumentally thick, they must know he's heading for the sack, so the atmosphere must be awkward in the extreme. Him going might just help dissipate the smell of death that's wafting around. And as you say, it's hard to see how exactly it would make things any worse.

I'd gamble if I was randy, sack him. Often get one positive result and that's all we need

The team is getting zero leadership, no decent coaching and the tactics suck balls. Sack him tonight. I can only imagine with our backs to the walls and a Villa man like Cowans in charge for the Hull game the atmosphere will be buzzing and we will stay behind them all the way.

I would, too.

I can't believe I am saying this - I was against sacking him in January on the basis that I thought it would just make us worse, but I now think that we would be better off and more likely to get something with him not at the club.

The one thing Randy managed to make clear in that bizarre, incoherent, mostly indecipherable "press release" last week is that he thinks Lambert is doing an extraordinary job. So he won't be going anywhere.

It's a good job Randy "Couldn't Give A Fuck" Lerner is in charge, anyone with any bollocks would have punched him in the throat and thrown him in Swansea Bay.  Pair of pricks.  At least sack him right now and make him get a taxi home.

Put Sid in charge for the last three games, at least try to give them some kind of lift before the Hull game.  I can't bear the thought of seeing Lambert get a tactical masterclass from Tim Sherwood in a couple of weeks time.

It's all their fault I'm sat watching this "Class of 92" wankfest, hoping they give poor old Norwich an absolute shoeing.  I feel utterly filthy as a result of this.

Can the mods reset the poll please, with just a simple yes or no option.

"Now" or "In a couple of weeks" should suffice.

He should have been sacked after the Chelsea 8-0 debacle. Instead he was allowed to stay and fester at our club. The fact that he hasn't been sacked is proof that Lerner doesn't give a flying toss about Aston Villa.

There has to be a coach or manager that a team parachutes in, when it only needs to get motivated to beat a team like Hull in a single match to complete the season.

Ditch Lambert and pay such a man a huge fee and bonus for getting one result. Ideally, a strong character with a Villa connection. Suggestions? BFR? Graham Taylor? Mellberg? Laursen? Southgate? Platt? Mortimer? Or Venables?!
