So, Lambert bins his mates to save his job. Loyalty? My arse!! I hope he leaves at the end of the season, surely Randy isn't THAT gullible?
So, you really know what went on, then?

Tactically, Lambert's played a blinder. Five words I never thought I'd write.

Would be nice if you're writing them again come Saturday.

No, nor do I.

We can continue to change managers every 5 mins (5 people have took charge of team affairs since MON's departure three seasons ago) but until the transfer policy changes I'm not sure what people expect or whether much would change.

I would expect us to be in eighth place if Tony Pulis was manager. His budget is a fraction of our dunderhead's.

What, you mean:

"It wasn't my fault, it was their fault."

Obviously, I'm translating.

This must be the same Tony Pulis who bought in half a new team on transfer deadline day in January..

We've said that about him before. I expect us to lose four on the bounce now.

The mere fact Pulis name is even mentioned is truly a reflection of how desperate some have become.

Frightening to think anyone would truly want him here

There's a ceiling to how far a manager like Pulis (and specifically his tactics) can take you.  Whilst that is not an endorsement of Lambert, I'd at least like us to try and employ a manager who has the aspiration to build a team which can go further.

Yet with an O'Neill budget he did appallingly with Stoke.

Was going to say Ads. Pulis spent a fortune on shit players at Stoke. He has done wonders at Palace, but he has been very lucky to walk into a squad with 2 players of the quality of Puncheon and Bolasie. He has focused them brilliantly, but I would say had he built the Palace side himself they would be worse off.
