Boring old fart alert.   My mate sold his house to Curbishley.   In order to doll the property up he "borrowed" a load of my best carp to put in the pond in the garden.   He sold the house, Curbs moved in but I never got my fish back.   If he does come to VP the first letter he gets on his desk is a bill for my koi carp.

Not the one on Widney Lane was it Brian?

we could probably do worse than Curbishley to stabalise us.

I'm going for a walk. I may be some time.
I will come and join you. Curbishley for crying out loud.

Me too. Curbs and "his " carp should be nowhere near our club.

How about just the carp? Still an upgrade on Lambert.

Think he's just what we need.
For when the chips are down, Curbs steals fish.

I love John Sitton. Buddy Rich can be his assistant.

No Des, it was at Abridge (near Epping) when he was with Wet Spam.   I loved those fish.   I was teaching them to do tricks.

I wish there was a manager out there with Villa connections who knew what the club was all about and could come in and do a bloody good job.

A new Brian Little. Alas I don't think there is one out there.

Mark Robins, Sean Dyche, Phil Parkinson all up and coming managers. Not yet ready for Villa. We need another Sir Graham don't we?

Playing the 3 centre halves just doesn't work, and it's not good enough.

Really need another SGT.  Someone wo can come in, and shake the club out of its malaise.  I remember reading some comments from Garry Thompson over Taylor introducing himself to the team when he arrived in 87 by lambasting them.

That is what we need, someone who can man-manage, but ain't afraid to kick a few arses when they're needed.

Sadly, we're relying on Lerner and Faulkner to bring someone like that to Villa.

How about 'Billy The Singing Bass' he could do the media interviews as well.

The cold hard reality is that there are probably about 5 players in our squad who are definitely good enough for the top flight at the moment. The manager has assembled that squad and it's nowhere near good enough,
